Pick up from hotel and drive to Golden Rock, locally called Kyaikhtiyo( the pagoda carried by the hermit’s head) is located on a highest peak(1100 meter above sea level) Paunglaung mountain range in Mon State at south east from Yangon. From the mountain base camp Kimpun, a 20 km concrete road will take you to hill top. Take an hour ride by passenger open truck up to near hill top. Another 10 min walk, then you will reach to the gate of pagoda compound. Learn the peculiar and miracle position of Kyaikhtiyo pagoda. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Note: Bago is at 80 km from Yangon on the same road to Kyaikhtiyo. A photo stop for Kyaikpun elegant seated statue. See Bago market as always lively. See the landmarks of Bago from Shwe Aung Yway hillock. Keep walk along roofed access between Hinthargone to Shwemawdaw pagoda. Lunch break at Bago.
Visit to Crow beak cave and Hunter hill. Then have breakfast at hotel. Check out hotel and drive to Mawlamyaing via Thaton which was once Suvanabumi Mon kingdom that has flourished Buddha’s teaching and scripture. Break for lunch and photo at Shwesaryan stupa, a landmark of former Mon Kingdom. Continue drive to Mawlamyaing. On the way Zinkyaik water fall is a nature beauty common relax centre. Late afternoon visit Kyaikthanlan pagoda on the hill top and Queen Seindon Monastery where antique handicraft works are maintained. Overnight in Mawlamyaing.
Breakfast at hotel. First, drive to Mudon ,30 km from Mawlamyaing, visit Win Sein Tawya, the world’s largest reclining Buddha image, nearly 200m long and constitutes 182 compartments. Continue to Thanbyuzayat, 35 km from Mudon, visit second world war memorial cemetery. Relax at Setse beach and tour nearby Daminseik village where plenty of fish product. Return to Mawlamyaing.
After breakfast set out journey to Pa an. The scenic view of Pha-an city is beautiful with rock mountains that was formed from volcanic larva, green farms and Thanlwin river. On the way visit Khayonegu cave that enshrines numerous Buddha images, stalactites and stalagmites. Kawnat village has ancient monastery complex that embellished with fine artistic works. Continue to Kawgoon Cave adorned with 7th century stone curving and 19th century sculpted work on the wall. Proceed Kyaukkalat sacred compound to view Mt Zwekabin the landmark of Karen state. In the evening, cool down the day at Shwe Yin Myaw pagoda at the shore of Thanlwin river.
After breakfast, return to Yangon. Visit Bayin Nyi lime stone cave with hot spring. Coffee break at Thaton. Further drive to Kyaikhto for lunch. If time permits, a photo to Myatharlyaung reclining statue in Bago. Back to Yangon.

Chaung Sone township once it was called Bilu(ogre) island is surrounded by sea and river. The island is large and some mountains run across on it. Deciduous forest, evergreen forest and giant bamboo grow everywhere. Paddy fields are sprawling while fish and other integrated firms are in abundant. It is made up of 64 villages of them Ywalut is known for its home products- smoking pipe, walking stick, leather ring and lathe wares. Chalk board is still produced in Mudoon village. Of the population, 80 percent are Mon and the rest are Bamar and Indian. Those who wish to see country settlement in genuine green feature, tour around from one village to another make you feel happy and fresh conduction.
Three wheel truck( tuk tuk) can go everywhere.
